Location:

The house is located on the Costa de Benissa, a suburb of Benissa in the northern part of the Province of Alicante (Marina Alta), Costa Blanca, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain.

Costa Blanca: synonym for wonderful beaches and a unique climate. 2.900 hours of sun and an average temperature of 18 degrees Celsius (64°F.) pamper the people at the "White Coast" of Spain. The accommodating climate was awarded by the World Health Organization WHO.

How to get there:

Traveling by car, once you cross the French border at Perpignan,  take highway A7/E-15, via Barcelona, Tarragona, Valencia, in the direction of Alicante and Murcia; take exit 63 to Benissa, which is 8 km (approximately 5 miles) away.

Alternatively, you can get there by plane or train. The nearest international airports and key railway stations are located in Alicante 90km (56 miles) or Valencia 120km (75 miles). From there you can make further connections to Benissa by local railway or rental car.

Many beaches and little coves are located about 3 to 5 km (2-4 miles) away from the house, so we recommend getting a rental car.

Rental car reservations, including pick up and return to the airport, can be arranged.

General Benefits of La Casa Solana's Location:

The house exudes a spa-like ambience. It is located in a very healthy and healing climate, at an altitude of 150 m (450 feet) above the Mediterranean Sea, which is only about 1.5 km (1 mile) away as the crow flies. The house is situated 7 km from Benissa, on the well-paved, curvy road CV 745, which runs from Benissa to the coast; you'll find it between the 14 and 15 km mileage markers.  It features an incomparable 180° view, encompassing from left to right: Cape Moraira and the village of the same name, the entire Costa de Benissa, the local mountain Ifach, which is reminiscent of the Rock of Gibraltar, as well as the village of Calpe and Cape Toix, and of course splendid views of the ocean.

The lush garden, 7000 m² (nearly 2 acres) in size, is completely enclosed with a southern exposure. It is an integral part of the typically beautiful surrounding landscape. In the garden you will find yourself among many Mediterranean plants, including wine grapes, as well as olives, almonds, carob, lemons, oranges and pine trees.
